Rammus, The Jungle Armordillo Guide

Hello summoners! It's time for another guide. It's that guy you want in your team and the enemy team fears and banns. It's Armordillo time !
Rammus is a very powerful tank (maybe the strongest, at least against autoattack heroes), a tank that can also deal some massive damage through his passive skill. This skill, called Spiked Shell, converts 25% of his armor into attack damage. His skills are meant to drive mad the best AD champs in the League of Legends. Combining Taunt and Defensive Ball Curl makes even Tryndamere and Master Yi burst in tears and go back to base. So lets get down to business.

Ahri the Nine-Tailed Fox Guide

Hello summoners! The asian legend has been revealed. Ahri, the Nine Tailed Fox will be available in LoL store any minute now!
The story of Ahri begins in the woods of southern Ionia. Ahri was born with the feeling that she was not meant to be just a fox, she wanted to be more, she dreamt to be human some day.
Her goal seemed always out of reach. Until one day, she came across a battlefield and encountered a dying man. In that moment something she could not explain happened, some sort of magic transformed her into a human. Ahri knew that her transformation was not complete and used her beautiful, human appearance to attract men and consume their life essences. With every life she took, Ahri was coming closer to her dream, but also she started to have doubts about the method she used to achieve her goal.
Searching for a solution, she encountered Runeterra, the home of the gifted mages on earth (she probably met Charles Xavier) and they offered her the chance to fight in the League of Legends!

Ahri - patch preview

Hello again summoners. The new patch is comin' and it's gonna do some major changes. First of all, dodge runes will be removed from the League of Legends gameplay. Dont worry, you will get your IP refunded until 25th December. This is bad news especially for Jax players. They will shed a tear in the memory of old Jax. Champions and items that used dodge will be remaked.

Keep your eyes focused on the store because LoL will throw in some new runes to replace the dodge runes. These runes will have stats like: hybrid penetration, gold over time, bonus % health, life steal and spell vamp.
Twisted Fate will be buffed next patch. His base range will be increased and the pick a card spell will get more control because they will fix the problem where players would accidentally target a minion or another champion after a card was selected.
Tryndamere's bloodlust will be nerfed in the upcoming patch. The base level heal will not be modified, just the stacking.
Perseverance from utility masteries will be replaced by Strenght of Spirit, which converts % of maximum mana into bonus health regeneration.

We'll get more info when the patch will be up and Riot will release some notes.

Brand - The Burning Vengeance - AP mid guide

Hello guys! Today I want you to meet my Brand the way I play him. As you already know, Brand is a range caster (mage), very powerful early game but also late game if you farm him and buy the right items.The whole idea about this guy is that you have to be able to finish up an enemy with your skills before he can get to you. Brand is very weak when he has the spells on cooldown and his only way to escape is to use Flash or stun, which is a combo of 2 spells and not just a button (but again if you spells are on cooldown its game over). So, to make Brand powerful, you have to build AP (ability power), but pay a little attention to mana regen too.

World Cyber Games 2011 - LoL Participating Teams

The Grand Finals for WCG 2011 will take place in Busan, South Korea, from 8 Dec till 11 Dec, 2011 in the BEXCO Exhibition & Convencion Center. Here League of Legends is one of the main events for the PC Gaming section. This is a good moment to have a small discussion about the LoL teams that made it to the Grand Finals.

8 top teams, with a STAR *line-up* will duke it out for da big dolla billz ^_^. 3 from Europe, 3 from North America and 2 from Asia.

League of Legends - 30 Seconds Until Minions Spawn! - Part 2

Welcome back summoners!, for Part 2 of „30 Seconds Until Minions Spawn”, the series that covers the main aspects of League of Legends creation, rise to fame J and some basic gameplay elemets until we get into the advanced strategies for each champion or situation.

In the end of Part 1, we discussed about the game modes available. Now let’s make o short presentation for each.

In Tutorial Mode, new players can acomodate with the game’s controls and basic mechanics. You can understand the main objective/s and can try different skills before going online. The game is a private offline and can also be used to see new champions at work. Pro players play tutorials sometimes J :trollin: hehe.

League of Legends - 30 Seconds Until Minions Spawn! - Part 1

League of Legends is an Action RTS video game released on octomber 27, 2009. The game is developed and published by Riot Games and it was first announced in late 2008. LoL had a six months beta from april 2009 till’ octomber 2009, when the game got a full release.

The game is not your traditional RTS game, even if it's real time and has a lot of strategy involved. Some call it ARTS (action real time strategy), some call it MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) and some call it AoS and/or DotA clone (Aeon of Strife and Defense of the Ancients, are two famous custom maps designed for StarCraft BroodWar and WarCraft 3).

In reality the game has features and mechanics from more than one genre. It combines classic RTS elements, with Action and RPG elements, adding team play into the mix, along with tactical decisions. In the newly released Dominion Game mode, you can also see FPS elements. League of Legends has a wide range of influences and requires different skills for different situations. Call it the cocktail molotov of gaming ATM, ready to explode! And...yeah, i mean it in a good way J

It's the most popular and played game right now! As of July 2011, LoL has surpassed WoW in terms of active players!

Volibear - The Thunder's Roar (Tankin'bear)

Hello summoners ! Volibear patch has arrived. And with it, of course, Riot has thrown into the field of justice a brand new champion.He has claws, fur, a big heavy armor and he's very angry. No ! Not Warwick. Common will you let me finish? So he's big, furry and angry. His name is Volibear a.k.a. The Thunder's Roar. According to reliable sources (Riot's old and wise story tellers), Volibear was kicking it somewhere in the North of Frejlord with his brother, the tribe's chief. When his brother died, he had to stand up and rule the mighty bear tribe, but like any other heroic story there was a quest that Volibear had to complete in order to gain the respect of his people and leadership of the tribe. So he went to a sacred mountain to speak to the storm itself and get some life experience ! (LoL). When he reached the peak of the mountain he had a vision about a war that would bring the end of his people...bears...whatever.
So he decided to go and change his fate. He formed an alliance with Queen Ashe to join the League of Legends and fight on the Field of Justice.
